About zana

I've been walking this path too.

I'm Zana Prana, a musician, DJ, vocalist, set builder and facilitator from Aotearoa, New Zealand.

For the past 11 years, I've been creating a life around music, travelling the world, playing festivals and ecstatic dances, leading retreats, facilitating transformational sound experiences and exploring the many ways music can move people.

I've had to learn a lot along the way. How to trust my own sound. How to put myself forward. How to get booked. How to build an artist identity from the ground up. How to create an online presence, make money from my work and build a life that allows me to keep travelling and creating.

And probably most importantly, I've had to learn how to quieten the noise and trust that what I have to offer is enough.

I've worked with more than 200 people through music, retreats, education and mentorship, and I've seen how much can change when someone finally starts believing in their own creative voice.

That's why I created The Journey Artist Circle.

I want to share what I've learned through actually walking this path, and give other women a place to explore their sound, find their voice, take themselves seriously as artists and start bringing the life they've been imagining into reality.

No talk, just walk.
